The family’s children continued this heritage and gradually developed the estate. Jean, a notable figure of the second generation, is presented as embodying this transmission and even inspiring a tribute cuvée. The third generation then strengthened the reputation and identity of Champagne Masse-Liébart & Fils. Today, Emmanuel Masse carries on the family heritage while aiming to preserve traditions and adapt the house to current and future challenges. The site also states that the history of the champagnes Masse-Liébart & Fils goes back to the 18th century, with roots in the Champagne terroir for eight generations, and that the house will soon celebrate its 100th anniversary.
