Description
The Porte du Pont is an eighteenth-century monumental city gate in Vitry-le-François, built in honor of King Louis XIV. It was part of a fortified town designed in the sixteenth century. During the Second World War, the gate was dismantled and later rebuilt between 1982 and 1985.
