Description

Located just outside Épernay, Mont Aimé is a historic hill rising 240 meters above the Champagne plain. Once the site of a Gallic oppidum and a medieval castle built in 1210, it later played a key role during the Battle of the Marne in 1914. Today, visitors can enjoy scenic walking trails, an orientation table, a memorial obelisk, and panoramic views over the surrounding vineyards and countryside.
