Champagnes Breton Fils

House history

Maison Breton traces its history to a long line of winegrowers cultivating the Petit Morin vineyards. Prudentienne and Gilbert Breton fulfilled a post-war dream of producing champagne under their own name from grapes grown on their vines. Olivette and Ange founded Maison Breton Fils in 1948 and expanded production during the postwar economic boom. Yann, with his wife Christiane, further professionalized the estate and refined blends to create more distinctive vintages. Later Johann and Nathalie continued the house’s know-how and growth, followed by Reynald and Fatima, who expanded the Breton name internationally. More recently, their son Pierre joined the family to help meet a new era of innovation and renewal.
