Champagne Pierre Bertrand
Rue Louis Dupont 166, 51480 Cumières, France
House history
The house indicates that Pierre Bertrand, passionate about the product of the vine, began in 1946 to produce a champagne respecting the traditions of Champagne. Over the years, the vineyard expanded and, in 1956, he purchased an estate of cellars above which everything had to be rebuilt after the ravages of the war. The site also specifies that Pierre Bertrand initially cultivated a small area of vines inherited from his grandmother and learned the winemaking of Champagne wine from a passionate winemaker. In 1970, their daughter Thérèse joined her father in the work of the vineyard and the cellar. The house presents itself as a family business proud of its status as a Récoltant-Manipulant.

The house offers cellar visits by appointment only.
