House history
The Olivier Père et Fils House presents a family history of winemaking in Champagne. According to the site, the story begins in 1910 with Jules Olivier, the great-grandfather, who started working the vineyard on a 1.5-hectare plot. His son Jean then expanded the cultivated area. In 1968, Jean-Claude created the Olivier Père et Fils brand. Today, Bertrand and Julien, the fourth generation, cultivate 11 hectares and perpetuate the method passed down through the generations. The house also indicates practicing sustainable farming, respecting the environment and sustainable development.
