Champagne Marinette Raclot
Rue de Bar sur Aube 20, 10200 Baroville, France
House history
The house is located in Baroville, one of the 320 communes of the Champagne appellation, in the Bar-sur-Aube region. After graduating from the Beaune wine school, Sébastien Harand has been working in the family business since 1998 and became the manager in 2017. On 7.5 hectares, he mainly cultivates Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with now a bit of Pinot Blanc. Initially focused on a single brut Champagne cuvée, the production has diversified with a brut rosé, a Marinette Raclot Prestige cuvée 100% Chardonnay, and the Mathilde cuvée, named in honor of his daughter. Sébastien Harand is an owner-grower-producer and carries out the entire production process himself, from vine to bottle. The estate indicates working in sustainable viticulture and is transitioning towards sustainable viticulture.
