Champagne house
Champagne Lerglantier
Avenue de Paris 14, 51700 Courthiézy, France
House history
The family history begins around 1807, when the ancestors of the family were engaged in both agriculture and viticulture. In 1969, grandfather André LERGLANTIER began marketing white Champagne wine, known as "coteaux champenois". In 1976, Marcelle and Jean Marie, still farmers and winemakers, created the brand "CHAMPAGNE LERGLANTIER – POUGEOIS". In 1993, the next generation took over and the brand became "CHAMPAGNE LERGLANTIER PERE ET FILLE", then was joined in 1997 by Rémi. Today, the house operates 7.5 hectares of vineyards, mainly on the slopes of Courthiezy, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne.
