House history

The Larmandier family has been working the vines on the premier and grand crus of the Côte des Blancs since the 19th century, and vine work has been part of the history of the Larmandier and Bernier families since 1765. The estate is located on the terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, in the heart of the Champagne vineyard. Pierre, born in Vertus, grew up in the vineyards and cellar of his parents before joining the estate. Arthur participated very early in the life of the estate and then chose to continue the family adventure, while Georges also joined the estate after a first career as an engineer. The estate committed very early to a nature-respecting approach, driven by Pierre's desire to create great wines and by Sophie's convictions. Today, the entire estate is cultivated biodynamically.
