Champagne Lancelot-Pienne
Place Pierre Rivière 1, 51530 Cramant, France
House history
The house boasts a history of 120 years and five generations in Cramant. At the beginning of the century, Jean-Baptiste Lancelot, then head winemaker at the Mumm house in Cramant, cultivated his first plots of vines. His son Jean, after gaining experience in various champagne houses, embarked on producing his own cuvées and marketed his first bottles after the Second World War. In 1967, Albert Lancelot and Brigitte Pienne combined the vineyards of the two families, allowing the estate to develop and ensure the house's independence in the production of its champagnes. In 1995, Gilles joined his father after studying oenology and business, then took over the management of the estate in 2005.
