Rue Julien Ducos 9 Bis, 51530 Saint-Martin-d'Ablois, France
House history
Champagne DIDIER-DUCOS is a family house founded in the 1950s in Saint-Martin-d’Ablois, on the southern slopes of Épernay, in the heart of Champagne. Its origin is linked to the union of Adrien DIDIER, a former resistance fighter and survivor of the Mauthausen camps, and Yvonne DUCOS. After the war, Adrien produced and marketed his first bottles from the family vineyard, initially intended for his former fellow captives and their families. In the 1970s, Christophe, son of Adrien and Yvonne, joined the business with his wife Dominique. Since 2001, Nicolas, their son, and his wife Clotilde represent the third generation. As Récoltants-Manipulants, they control every step of the production process. The vineyard covers 8 hectares between Vinay and Saint-Martin-d’Ablois and is planted with the three Champagne grape varieties, with a predominance of Meunier.
