Champagne Couvent-Lémery
Rue Kennedy 47, 02850 Trélou-sur-Marne, France
House history
Winegrowers from father to son, the history of Champagne Couvent-Lemery begins with grandmother Mrs. Clarisse Couvent, who decided to market her own bottles of champagne. Her grandson Edmond Couvent took over part of the estate, grassed the rows to promote biodiversity, bought a press, and completely renovated the vat room to create the Couvent-Lemery style. The house has been operating its vineyard for 3 generations in Trélou-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley.
