Champagne Ch Marin & Fils

Rue du Pigeonnier 4, 10340 Avirey-Lingey, France

House history

The house presents its history as a family story, that of Éric Marin and his family on the terroir of Avirey-Lingey. The farm was initially focused on cattle breeding, then on sheep farming and large-scale crops until 1969, the year of the first vine plantings. After training at the Beaune wine school in Burgundy, champagne production began. The first bottling took place in 1993 and the first dressed bottle in 1994. Since then, Eric has devoted himself to his wines and his hillsides. The estate also indicates having 150 hectares for the agricultural part and 6 hectares in wine production, divided between pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot blanc.

Tasting experience

To discover Champagne Marin & Fils, the house explains that the road leads to the hillsides of Avirey-Lingey, at the edge of Champagne and the threshold of Burgundy. It welcomes visitors to Avirey-Lingey, in the heart of the Sarce valley, in the Côte des Bar. In 2014, it created a reception cellar at the heart of the estate to share pleasant moments with its visitors.
