Champagne Beurton & Fils

Rue du Sorbier 5, 57310 Bousse, France

House history

The house presents itself as a family of several generations of winemakers. Its heritage dates back to Gérard's great-grandfather, who had already innovated by spacing the vine rows. During the two wars, Eugénie and Yveline played an important role in the development of the estate, then Marinette Vincent devoted her energy to the house. Champagne Beurton & Fils was born from the union of Gérard Beurton and Marinette Vincent in 1974, when they united their destinies and their vineyards of Cuchery and Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, starting with 33 ares of vines. For more than forty years, the family has developed the estate, expanded the vineyard area and the pressing activity. Today, Benjamin and Katy embody a new generation that continues the development of the business in France and internationally.

Tasting experience

The site invites visitors to make an appointment to discover the house and its champagnes. It describes fine and chiseled cuvées, resulting from know-how passed down from generation to generation. The champagnes are made from Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, grape varieties benefiting from the local microclimate of the slopes of the Vallée de la Marne. The house cultivates 13 hectares of AOC vines, mainly around Cuchery and Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, on clay-limestone soils.
