House history

The House of A. Lété, located in Damery at the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, has a history dating back to 1890, when Jeanne, the daughter of peasant winegrowers, married Auguste and created Champagne A. Lété with him. After Auguste's death, their son Jacques took over the business at 18 with his mother's support. In 1975, Philippe, Jacques' son, and his wife Annick took over the estate and developed the vineyard between Damery and Fleury la Rivière. Since 2010, Laetitia and Frédéric have been managing the House with dedication and passion. The story particularly highlights the central role of the women in the family, notably Jeanne, whose courage and tenacity shaped the House. The text also mentions the recent arrival of Clara and Tom, the 5th generation, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and modernity to the family business.
